Slitting HSS rolls withstand high thermal loads with excellent wear resistance. Barrel surface hardness of HSD78-83 with a drop ≤3HSD/10mm ensures longevity. A single groove set lasts 4-5 times longer than nodular cast iron rolls and over 2 times longer than high boron rolls. Supports 22-24 hours of continuous use without spalling, ideal for pre-slitting stands in multi-strand rolling lines.
